Beginner Astronomy Classes



This is currently a proposed schedule. Additionally, each class will begin with a ten to fifteen minutes "kids" class.

January Winter Constellation / Highlight Objects
Febrauary Types of telescopes, designs, utility, practicality.
March The Moon.
April Spring Constellation / Highlight Objects.
May Star Parties - where are they, how to prepare for and enjoy them.
June Eyepieces, filters, finders and accessories.
July Summer Constellation / Highlight Objects.
August Star charts and planetarium programs.
September Deep sky observing - galaxies, nebulae, clusters, etc..
October Fall Constellation / Highlight Objects.
November Amateur telescope making, why, how and where.
December The Sun, planets and minor solar system objects.
