This presentation is intended as an introduction to a complex subject. As in any introduction I will use simplified weather models. The web page contains links to a number of references and books. If you wish to see more detailed explanations I suggest you consult these references.
The weather presented by the local TV meteorologist is generally not sufficient for accurate forecasts of astronomical weather. This talk will introduce you to some additional sources of information. Links to these sources are included on the web site.
Finally, our goal is to relate the available general weather information to the issue that affect Astronomy.
