Clear Sky Clock

Notes:

The first tool is the Clear Sky Clock. This is the first serious attempt at an Astronomical forecasting tool. It is well known by experienced astronomers.

I personally find that the CSC has limited accuracy. There are two reasons for this.

1. It is derived from a forecast that covers North America. In this area the forecast frequently differs greatly within a short distance. Thus the precision forecast this tool produces exceeds the accuracy of the underlying forecast.

2.The tool does not attempt to consider local conditions (such as our Marine Layer). This limits the accuracy close to the bay.
