All Meals must be ordered in advance and prepaid at the time of registration.

As a part of the reservation process you will be given an opportunity to either pay for the meals using PayPal or will get a form that you can send to SJAA along with a check.  Note that a small convenience fee will be charged for the PayPal transactions to cover the cost of using PayPal.

Meals are ordered when SJAA receives the money not when the reservation is made.  If you are using PayPal for registration then you can reserve a meal until 10AM Wednesday Oct 10.  If you decide to mail a check then it must be in the SJAA mailbox by the same time.  Payments received after that time cannot be accepted.  I will confirm all reservations via email. 

Cancellation

Meals can be cancelled via email to before 10 AM on Wednesday Oct 10. After that point all sales are final.  If SJAA does sell your meal then we may be able to refund your money.  All PayPal convenience fees are non-refundable.

Walk-ins

If you do not pre-reserve a meal then you need to bring your own food.  There may be walk-in meals available, but that will depend on no shows and on whether or not extra food will be available.  We will not be collecting money at the site this year so you must bring exact change.

Why is SJAA requiring prepayment?

The simple reason is that over the years people have abused the honor system reservations that we have used in the past.  That caused SJAA to jack up the cost of the meals to cover our risk.  This year we have been able to eliminate this cost lowering the price of the meal to all of the responsible participants.  We are also sharing the risk of weather related cancellation instead of SJAA taking it on by itself.
