Donating Equipment

The SJAA is pleased to receive any equipment donations. Telescopes, eyepieces, mounts... almost anything you can think of that is used in astronomy, we accept. Equipment is evaluated for its utility. Some is used in our loaner telescope program. Some may be donated to worthy individuals who the SJAA decides support astronomy education in their community. Some may be sold at our annual astronomy auction and swap meet - the proceeds being in other SJAA programs.. If you are interested, we can tell you where your donation may fit, in advance. But rest assured, all donations go toward supporting the SJAA and public education in astronomy. SJAA will provide a tax receipt for charitable contributions upon request for all equipment donations.
