Orion Telescopes Dob Telescope
The club owns a number of Orion Telescopes on a Dobsonian Mount.
The sizes vary from 4.5" to 8".
Each of these scope is a Newtonian Design. Light
comes in at the top. It reflects off the primary mirror sitting at the
bottom of the tube. The light is reflected again from a secondary
mirror near the top into the eyepiece.
These types of scopes are very easy to use. Simply drop the tube
into the base and secure the two springs. The instructions below
will give you additional information.
