This Dob has an unusually long focal ratio.  The extra focal ratio increases the avaliable magnification at the cost of making the tube rather long. To give a sense of scale the ruler above is 24" vertically. You will likely need a ladder to view objects near the zenith.

The scope is currently supplied with just a Telerad finder.  You will have to use the Telerad to locate the approximate location of the object and then locate it using the lowest power eyepiece.

The finder is helical, but works rather smoothly.

The bearing are the normal ebony star on teflon.  The scope moves well.

The scope is supplied with 3 eyepieces.
