4" Celestron Flourite Refractor

This is a premier refractor with excellent optical quality. The GEM is certainly adequate for this scope.

The scope comes with a battery pack. A 12v power source with a banana plug is recommended.

The controller is very basic, RA only. It has an 8x forward, but no reverse. To reverse switch from North tracking to south tracking (the bottom slide switch at the right). Dec is entirely manual.

The scope is supplied with a good polar scope. Shining a red flashlight near the north opening will illuminate the reticles.

The scope is supplied with several good (not top of the line) eyepieces
