Scope 44 4.5" f/8 Orion Skyview Newt
Most low cost scopes suffer from the corners cut to aggressively reduce
the price. This scope was a pleasant surprise. Its mount is
relatively stable. The optics are good, but not great. Most
of all it is easy to use.
I personally do not like scopes mounted on a German Equatorial Mount
for beginners. Finding the latches to unlock the RA and Dec
axises is typically very difficult. In this scope they are big,
easy to find knobs.
This is a manual scope with no motor drive

Unfortunately I could not find any assembly instructions so you will
have to rely on these pictures

The focuser is relatively smooth for a scope of this class.
The
finder is a 6x30 which is normally acceptable. This particular
one is of poor quality. SJAA added an after market Red Dot finder
to the scope. This makes locating objects significantly easier.

It comes with two Kellner eyepieces
