Loaner Scope 50 10 inch Compact Coulter Dob
This is a classic Coulter Dob that was popular in the 80's. It
has a short focal length which means it is a wide field scope. It
is also shorter than most 10" Dobs
The scope is shipped with the mirror removed. That cuts the weight of
the OTA to about 30 lbs (as opposed to 50).
This scope is not designed to be transported with the mirror installed.
Doing so may hurt the scope.
To install the mirror put the OTA in the
base and open the sling on the back of the scope
Be careful not to touch
the mirror. Either handle by the side or bring some disposable
latex gloves.
The scope currently has just a finder, but a good one.
