The July issue of the SJAA Ephemeris is now available for proofreading. This issue will go to the printer on Friday morning.

I noted in the minutes (okay, I do read them sometimes) that Electronic distribution of the Ephemeris is now the default. I figured that meant there should be some change in the back page but I wasn't sure what. Any ideas?

Just to let you all know.
Mary and I have been editing the Ephemeris for more than 5 years. That was about the tenure of the previous editors. Later this month I'll include a note in the Ephemeris that the editor's job is opening up again. By that time I will have created a web page or two that explains the mix of "talents" needed to keep the Ephemeris running.In the meantime, if anyone on the board has a possible candidate in mind, please let us know. This is not a panic - if we don't find someone we will continue up to another year if necessary.

Completely unrelated to the above, I've been adding big chunks of the content myself. Usually, particularly in the summer, someone else has contributed articles. Please think about contributing.
